Annandale House
A seamless connection between house and garden is the centre of the design for this project.
An existing 100 year old home needed transformation to create a home with lots of natural light, beautiful quality spaces and a practical family home for four. The key challenges for the project came from the Heritage Conservation controls from the local council. The first floor roof form tapers to comply with council's controls but to ensure the bedrooms had enough space, we inserted dormer windows.
Crafted to be a sanctuary of light, with clean, elegant lines, and graced with inspiring artwork, this family residence was an absolute joy to envision.
At its core, the design focused on seamlessly uniting the house with its garden.
